I am currently working toward a postdoctoral project, provisionally entitled ‘Paradise of the informal: Freedom and Philology in Black US Literature, Culture and Theory after 1960’. The project identifies the historical importance and ongoing relevance of philology in Black US-based literature, culture and theory.
